My best friend and I, we look for hidden worlds.
(This was an accidental shot. We were really just looking through the hole in the wall and forgot the timer was on.)
What can I say, Elle? Always on the lookout for a Narnia of our own. :)

Don't look, boys. (Love this!)

  • You go girl!
  • A guy had a crush on this girl. He follows her wherever she goes. One day the girl noticed and asked the guy:
  • Girl: Why do you keep on following me?
  • Boy: Because you're so pretty and I think I'm falling in love with you.
  • Girl: Really? But you haven't met my friend yet. She's prettier than me and she's right behind you.
  • The guy looked behind him but found no one.
  • Boy: Are you making fun of me? There's no one behind me.
  • Girl: No, but if you really love me, you won't look back.

Of friendship and stories and banana cake

It’s 2am. I acutally don’t know why I’m still awake. Well, apart from the fact that I am seriously midnight snack-deprived. I guess I just have a hangover of sorts from the almost-three amazing days in the home of one of my best friends in the whole wide world.

We talked non-stop, generally a normal tradition of the female species. I guess what makes me think we might be a tiny bit different are the various things we discussed such as the smell of old books, the itchy-ness of the tall grass, how my darling brother thinks that he knows what women want to eat (boiled eggs according to him, HAHA), how my youngest brother wants a pizza for his wedding cake, drawing candles on birthday cards.. yeah, those kinds of things.

We also sang endlessly, you know, during the spaces in between breathing and chatting.

It’s a shame I had to leave so early yesterday morning. There was a threatening, signal number three storm that had just begun, and in the craziness of the fallen trees, twisted tent supports, and leaves leaves leaves, my father came to pick me up. I love him for that.

However, in spite of the abrupt ending, I still had an awesome time. Thank you, darling, for hosting me and making my sembreak exciting. I look forward to this Christmas break!

Here’s a souvenir from our adventure:
